Partially dead cats? Entanglement? Multiverse? Everything everywhere all at once. Pop culture fascination with quantum has created a magical—and sometimes scary!—exploration of this breakthrough science. Join real quantum computing and cryptography experts, and then welcome to the stage the most celebrated Hollywood quantum scientist of them all, Doc Brown. Great Scott! Quantum has arrived.

In this session, we will share our experience monitoring the RSAC wireless network this week, divulging the comical actions and activities observed and changes we've seen over the years. If you'd like to see what a network looks like when its users know security, know its challenges, should know better, and choose to ignore all of that anyway, join us for the always eye-opening RSAC SOC Report.

In theory, "cloud native" technologies like containers and Kubernetes should enable teams to implement consistent security controls. In reality, K8s security depends on the engine used, be it the Amazon's EKS, the Azure's AKS, or Google's GKE. This session will empower attendees to build and defend applications that are not cloud agnostic or cloud devout, but are truly cloud consistent.

AI adversarial attacks take many forms, from evasion and extraction attacks to malicious training on OT/ICS assets. An AI/ML attack can be very costly and potentially dangerous. MITRE ATT&CK CWE-1039 is associated with malicious AI training. This session will demo how to utilize automated AI/ML model source code analysis and stop adversarial AI attacks with defense mechanisms designed to counter CWE-1039.

Human trafficking does not only happen on the “dark web”. Classified ads in open source can provide valuable leads for surfacing human trafficking indicators. This session will share a proof-of-concept study that demonstrates how first responders can monitor sources of interest to generate valuable leads for initiating investigations, building cases, and assisting human trafficking survivors.

Coordinated influence campaigns can spread misinformation about an organization, damage its reputation and even lead to physical harm. How do we detect those campaigns across social media platforms? What are the characteristics of those campaigns? In this session, we will share with attendees the latest research methods and tools in detecting online campaigns based on a multi-year research project.

When everything is critical, nothing is. The 16 Sector, stove-piped model for Critical Infra is failing - allowing cyber-disruptions to lifeline human needs: Water, Food, Power, Fuel, timely Patient Care... with mortal costs. Our "10" most latency-sensitive critical functions are cross-sector interdependent and require fresh systems thinking. I'll share my post-CISA COVID Task Force insights.

This talk will demonstrate how career changers can play a valuable role in an organization’s cybersecurity strategy. You’ll hear from a hiring manager who helped draft an entry level job advertisement that went viral on TikTok with hundreds of applicants. The talk will also feature a journalist who applied to that job posting and made the switch from local TV news to cybersecurity.
