Abstract

In this session will cover Velero project(Ark by Heptio) Velero provides the cloud native way to backup and restore or even migrate your Kubernetes clusters and resources. This session will cover the basics with demos like: - install - setup - usage of Velero - cover few scenarios where Velero can save our infra/business. As a second part of the talk will discuss the Velero Community how it's working and how you can join us in our journey in the Cloud Native World. The main takeaways from this talk will be better understanding of the need and to be able to backup your Kubernetes resources and how you can achieve that with Velero and community how everyone can benefit from it!
