Data analytics is rapidly evolving into AI. Across industries, technologists and businesses are developing new use cases for AI. As in so many areas, the law lags the technology. This presentation will explore historical precedents for legal and policy responses to disruption, the phenomenon of “law lag,” the EU and US responses and key pillars to a successful AI implementation.
