Thus far most COVID contact tracing apps have been plagued by low enrollment and paused or abandoned due to criticism about their privacy and security. This session will examine the impact of various COVID contact tracing apps' privacy and security features on the apps' effectiveness as a backstop measure to prevent further spread of COVID.
