Summary

The conference presentation discusses the use of AI in e-commerce and the potential applications for small businesses. It also highlights the importance of accurate mapping technology for Southeast Asia and how AI can be used to improve it.
  • AI can be used for content generation, such as product images and meaningful brand stories for small businesses
  • Accurate mapping technology is crucial for e-commerce in Southeast Asia, and AI can be used to improve it
  • Using AI to mount cameras on drivers' helmets can help collect information and improve routing for faster and cheaper delivery
  • E-commerce is expected to continue growing in the next five years
Grab, an e-commerce platform, uses AI to mount cameras on drivers' helmets to collect information and improve routing for faster and cheaper delivery. They also use AI to blur out faces and license plates in the collected images. This technology helps reduce their cost to serve and improve the last mile experience for consumers. Additionally, accurate mapping technology is crucial for e-commerce in Southeast Asia, where there are many back streets and drivers may need to navigate through shopping malls or condo blocks to deliver packages. AI can be used to improve mapping technology and provide the best routes for drivers to take. Small businesses can also benefit from AI-generated content, such as product images and meaningful brand stories, to improve their search engine optimization.
